On July 27, 2013, the Foundation hosted a Sweet Summer Night Wine, Cheese and Dessert Party at Deal Golf and Country Club in Deal, NJ. On this special evening, the Foundation presented its Annual Canine Hero Award to rescue dog Mac Dereska Malinowski for his miraculous act of heroism that saved his forever family from a house fire.
