WORKSHOP FOLLOWED BY MEET & GREET TO BENEFIT ANIMAL CHARITY

Thursday, April 24, Workshop: 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Meet and Greet: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Tinton Falls, N.J. (March 12, 2014) – Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts presents “Simple Solutions for Common Dog Behavior & Training Problems,” a workshop with Dr. Ian Dunbar on Thursday, April 24, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at 86 Gilbert Street West in Tinton Falls N.J. Dr. Dunbar, founder of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, is an animal behaviorist, veterinarian, and creator of the world’s first off-leash puppy classes.

This is a people-only workshop suitable for both pet owners and professionals. The workshop has been approved for 6 CEUs by the CCPDT and IAABC. Registration is $120. Group discounts are available. For more details and to register, visit www.purrnpooch.com.

The workshop will offer simple solutions for the most common dog behavior and training problems, including house soiling, destructive chewing, excessive barking, digging, home-alone problems, hyperactivity, jumping-up, not coming when called, pulling on leash, leash reactivity to other dogs, and lack of attention and compliance. Rehabilitating adult dogs with temperament problems, such as fearfulness, fighting and biting, can be time consuming, especially with older dogs. However, behavior and training problems may actually be resolved at any time in a dog’s life. When training begins, good habits begin to replace bad habits. Information will be available at the workshop on training classes at Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts in Tinton Falls or Wall.

Meet and Greet Fundraiser for Animal Charity
Following the workshop, Purr’n Pooch will host a Meet and Greet with Dr. Ian Dunbar from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m to benefit the Purr’n Pooch Foundation for Animals. The evening is a special opportunity to speak with Dr. Dunbar and Dick Palazzo of Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts about specific dog training and behavior problems. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is a $25 donation per adult. Purchase tickets at www.purrnpoochfoundation.org.
