During the holidays, the Foundation collected donations for U.S. Military Working Dog Teams deployed to the Middle East via Operation Military Care K-9, a project run by the United States War Dogs Association. On January 8, 2014, the Foundation hosted a volunteer working day at Purr’n Pooch Pet Resorts in Tinton Falls, NJ to write letters to the dog handlers and prepare their care packages for shipment.
